The instruments that we play...
The group performs with a variety of both traditional and non-traditional instruments. This is what makes our music so unique and festive. Traditional Ceili instruments dominate our sound, including fiddles, flutes, button box and accordians. We also play with whistles, bodhran drums, guitars, banjos, mandolins, dulcimer and even the occasional stand-up base.
Some of our talented musicians also give lessons on the side for fiddle, whistles, bagpipes, etc... So, if you are interested in joining in and learning the music our Celtic ancestors, be sure to make it down to the Hibernian Club (2000 Brown St, Akron) on a Wednesday evening at 8pm (ask for MaryAnn or Brian and we'll get you started on the right foot).
